OBJECTIVES
What are some of the things you will get from this program:
- A series of sessions designed to take you through the creation of your Patient Care Philosophy. Your practice, processes and people are ultimately about your patients so your practice philosophy must come first.
- Training and coaching around how to assess your Practice Character and Context. We will work with you to ensure you have defined your unique Brand and build a Marketing Plan that supports that Brand.
- The most successful business owners are those that create a business around and in support of their life and professional goals. Our coaches will work with you, one-on-one, to help you develop your personal road map. We will hold you accountable to your life dreams!
- A detailed assessment of your Leadership Impact. To truly lead an office, a dentist and/or Business Manager must transform, shape and influence:
- the practice context
- employee interaction
- how employees approach their work
Leadership Impact is a transformational tool, developed for leaders to become aware of the impact of their own leadership strategies and how these affect the performance of their dental practices.
- You will get an Emotional Intelligence in Action Profile. This tool is based upon a developmental model (Sarni, Emotional Intelligence Handbook) and measures the three capacities of emotional intelligence, or what others call the "essential components" (Taylor & Bagby). These capacities include:
- Self-Reflection
- Self-Soothing or Self-Regulation
- Empathy
When these capacities are well developed you are much more successful at communicating with yourself, your team and your patients, reducing stress and increasing productivity.
- We will work with you to Assess your Systems (client intake process, your financial controls, charting systems, patient flow and hand offs, handling predeterminations, consistent and effective hygiene protocols ). We will get back to basics but we have learned that basics often get forgotten has wrong assumptions and missed communication often happens during implementation. Strategy is common place but implementation is the art. You know the work we did with you at the b ginning of this coaching…i.e. Vision…we will be there to help you with implementation! You will have the benefit of our checklists and change management expertise during each phase. No matter what, we want to ensure you are providing consistent delivery of services, ultimately ensuring less stress for all, better communication and much happier staff and patients.
- We will work with you develop a Recruitment and Retention Strategy that is aligned to your vision. Let’s ensure that that you know how to hire for the right values and behavioural norms and not just for the right experience and skills. We hold the belief that you must hire for attitude and train for skills! Additionally, after conducting a cultural assessment on your dental practice, we will look at retention strategies to keep your top talent. Your coaches will work with you to create a process for hiring and interviewing as well as looking at the reward and recognition systems in place.
- Are you making the most effective use of your practice management software? Do you have the processes around that to ensure that you are leveraging that to its greatest potential? Have you been considering other high-end equipment, but are unsure of whether it is worth the investment? Our coach will work with you to develop a Technology Plan to do just this.
