Cheryl Hooghiem

With a wealth of information about business administration, Cheryl Hooghiem will help clients set a manageable pace for running the office. A veteran in the dental industry, she began as a receptionist, worked as a dental assistant, and gained experience in office management, consulting, and dental supply and equipment sales. Her perspective from different vantage points means she understands balancing the whole matrix of patient, staff, and dentist needs, as well as the desire to operate with minimum effort and maximum effect.

In 1992, Cheryl started her own consulting company and worked extensively with dentists and their teams to promote excellent service for patients. Thanks to her thorough training at the Selection Research Institute, Cheryl enabled dentists to apply specific interview techniques, which improved retention of new patients and new staff members. Offering guidance in office protocol, she also set up systems that lowered accounts receivable and increased revenues. She also coached office teams in communication skills—everything from telephone techniques to treatment presentations. With experience in everything for the start up of new practices to the transition of retiring practitioners, Cheryl is all about delivering stellar results with a common sense, customer oriented approach.  Her forward-thinking systems always pass the real world test in attracting new patients, developing solid internal systems and assisting teams in working together effectively.

With extensive background in the dental profession, Cheryl understands the options available in everything from basic sundries through to high-technology dentistry.  She always works to provide her clients with the most appropriate solutions for their unique situation and personal goals.
